NBA is in the air: A look at Clippers media day

Today was a day of introductions, explanations and invitations for the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers organization introduced their new players to the media; Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan explained the so-called hold-up at DeAndre Jordan’s Houston home; and Los Angeles Clippers head coach delivered what seemed like an invitation to a cage match to Mark Cuban to squash the feud over DeAndre Jordan’s Summer decision.

When Jordan initially released that he was joining the Dallas Mavericks, it seemed like the Clippers were going to fall back to their previous years of being unsuccessful and irrelevant once again.

After a week of Twitter feuding, an Emojicon war and a hold-up in Houston DeAndre changed his mind and returned to the Clippers.

DeAndre Jordan’s re-signing was one of many huge moves for the organization during the off season.

The Clippers signed free agent and Los Angeles native, Paul Pierce, just prior to DeAndres decision.

The team also managed to land other veteran players like Lance Stevenson, via a trade with Charlotte; Wesley Johnson, Pablo Prigioni and Josh Smith via free agency.
